The Charles H. Bullock School held its Eco-Fair on Sunday, June 11 at the school playground, with hands-on activities, student projects displayed, organic veggies, and a bicycle powered smoothie maker, all showcasing Bullock’s commitment to environmental stewardship.

“As the environmental magnet, our students apply their studies to protecting the Earth throughout the school year,” said Bullock Principal Nami Kuwabara. “The Eco-Fair is our annual event, supported by the CHB PTA, that allows students and their families the opportunity to celebrate their hard work and renew their commitment to saving the planet.

“We greatly appreciate the Bullock parent volunteers who booked the vendors, set up and cleaned up the event, and created a fabulous day for our students and their families,” said Principal Kuwabara.

In addition, Bullock curriculum support teacher Yvette Velez-Torres was instrumental in making this year’s Eco-Fair a success. Ms. Velez-Torres helped facilitate grade-level environmental projects and provided opportunities for Bullock students to volunteer at the Eco-Fair.
