Requirements for Admission to the Glenfield Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society:

1) Academic: A student must have achieved all A's and only one B in their basic subjects. In addition, all aesthetic and elective course grades can be no lower than a B.

2) Service: A total of 25 hours of community service must be documented and submitted to the club advisor. Activities can be completed through participation in a group or on an individual basis.

3) Character: Students must submit two letters of recommendation attesting to their character. One should be from a teacher and the other should be from someone in a non-school setting.

*Please note that students who are inducted into the NJHS as 7th graders must continue to meet the academic and service requirements in order to become a returning member for their 8th grade year. Returning members do not need to submit new letters of recommendation.
